Yarndale

Yarndale didn't disappoint, the work that had gone into the event must have been tremendous - all those mandalas fastened onto the railings

plus bunting everywhere

and the yarn bombing through the park so WELL DONE EVERYONE.

It was so nice to have Becky with me this time, she had a go at a new skill

and was taken back by all the colour

I loved it all too but find it a little overwhelming. There were so many lovely things to buy that it didn't know where to start and in the end bought nothing.

We loved Cheryl-Ann Taylor who made the most GORGEOUS corsages and wedding head dresses, she was not only extremely talented but also a lovely girl. We will be going back to see her once Becky has chosen her wedding dress. Unfortunately when I looked at my pictures I had only taken a couple which were of Becky wearing a head dress which of course must remain a secret. So here are some from her web site

Taylor Made Corsage - CS3   Taylor Made Corsage - CS5

I also liked a stand down the left hand side which had pinafore dresses, tops and skirts.

I need to get hold of the program from Becky to find out who it was. It got busy which made it hard to take pictures but here are a few of the others I took.

But the weekend wasn't just about Yarndale for us as, we spent part of Friday in Skipton wandering the back streets where these cakes caught my eye

and then on to Grassington where the sun was shinning and sitting to have an ice cream was a must for David

All in all a very enjoyable weekend.
